Talking about her very unusual character, Bhairavi says, “I am playing the mother of Anandi, the 8-year old girl who gets subjected to child marriage. I play an uneducated woman who strongly believes in this custom of child marriage. Being a woman who got married at the age of six, she feels that this tradition should be followed even by her daughter”. The actress feels that her character cannot be termed as negative; it is just that she is a staunch follower of the custom. Adding on, Bhairavi says, “But as the story proceeds, a particular incident changes her view of getting her daughter married off early”.

The gorgeous actress is excited to play this unique and challenging role. “This role will set a different image for me in the eyes of the audience. I have done various roles and the most challenging part of this role is that I will be seen using a Marwari lingo”, avers the actress.

Chaitanya Adeep who played the role of Kunjan Singh in Saath Phere will play Bhairavi’s husband while Avika will play their 8-year old daughter. Anoop Soni will be the bridegroom’s father as Surekha Sikri dons the role of the bridegroom’s grand mother.
